How to Install and Use Your Modiwell Waterless RV Toilet
Setting up and using the Modiwell waterless RV toilet is pretty simple. Here are the basic steps. For more detailed instructions with pictures, check the Modiwell Toilet product manual:
- Open the support legs: Pull the legs on both sides outward until they click into place. The bottom part will open automatically.
- Charge it first: Use the charger that comes with it to charge the toilet. The “battery” light will blink green while charging and will turn off and show “100” when it's full. (Charge it when the power is below “25”. It's best to fully charge it before using it for the first time.)
- Put in the refill pack: Open the top, take out the cushion and the ring that holds things in place. Put the refill pack on the base, making sure the arrow on the strap is pointing up. Untie and remove the strap, then put the ring back on. Pull out about 8 inches of the film from the outside, fold the top over, and push it into the toilet.
- Place the guide: Push the guide straight down into the middle of the guide wheel until it stops, then lift it back up and put the cushion back on.
- Turn it on: Press the power button on the back. The toilet will check itself for about 2 seconds and then beep and go into standby mode. The control panel will show the battery level.
- Seal it for the first time: Press and hold the “Start” button for more than 2 seconds to start the sealing process (this takes about 2-3 minutes, and it will beep when it's done). After it's finished, take out the sealed bag, and the control panel will go back to standby mode and show the battery level.
- Add coagulant: Tear open a small bag of special coagulant, pour it into the garbage bag, and you can start using it.
- Seal it after each use: After you use the toilet, press and hold the “Start” button for more than 20 seconds to seal it (this takes about 2-3 minutes, and it will beep when it's done). When it's finished, take out the sealed bag from the bottom and throw it away properly.
